What are the savings with RiskSMART applications?

RiskSMART is a process that has been adopted by Brisbane City Council, Logan City Council & Gold Coast City Council to allow low risk developments to be assessed in short time frames. We are accredited in Brisbane City Council & Logan City Council. Consultants don’t need to be accredited to lodge an application through the RiskMART process in the Gold Coast City.  Applications lodged through this process attract the following discounts;

  • Brisbane City Council, 20% reduction in the standard relevant assessment fees
  • Logan City Council, 50% reduction in the standard relevant assessment fees
  • Gold Coast City Council, 10% reduction in the standard relevant assessment fees

Council are committed to processing RiskSMART applications in five business days (following payment of Council application fees), which allows you to proceed to the next stage of your development quickly.

What are the savings with Brisbane City Council’s SealSMART applications?

The SealSMART process has been developed by Council to allow accredited consultants to engage suitably qualified professionals to certify conditions before lodging a plan sealing application. This enables fast processing by Council. If all requirements have been appropriately certified, Brisbane City Council will approve suitable applications within five business days of payment of plan sealing fees.

Council in turn offer a 50% reduction in inspection fees.

What are the savings with Logan City Council’s ExpressSEAL applications?

The ExpressSeal process has been developed by Council to allow accredited consultants to engage suitably qualified professionals to certify conditions before lodging a plan sealing application. This enables faster processing by Council. If all requirements have been appropriately certified, Logan City Council will approve suitable applications within five business days of payment of plan sealing fees.
